EJ Johnson has the internet in full debate mode after sharing his brutally honest opinion about several celebrity looks from this yearâs Met Gala.
The reality star recently uploaded a video reacting to some of fashionâs biggest moments from the iconic event, and according to EJ, many celebrities simply didnât deliver the way fans expected.
While discussing the red carpet looks, EJ specifically mentioned BeyoncĂ©, Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian, saying he felt like this yearâs fashion energy was disappointing overall. He described the event as lacking excitement and claimed many stars failed to truly stand out despite the massive anticipation surrounding the night.
At one point during his reaction, EJ suggested that newer personalities and rising fashion figures may currently be bringing more creativity and originality to the culture than some of the bigger celebrity names.
Despite criticizing several major looks, EJ did give praise to internet personality Emma Chamberlain, calling her one of the few attendees who actually understood the assignment and brought strong fashion energy to the carpet.
As expected, social media immediately exploded with reactions after clips from EJâs commentary began circulating online.
Some users agreed with his opinion and admitted they also felt underwhelmed by this yearâs Met Gala looks.
Others, however, accused EJ of being overly critical and trying to stir controversy for attention.
